Many plants have insects that backing pollination. Bees for instance are used to pollinate groves of pecan trees, clover & alfalfa crops. Cucumber wasps pollinate cucumber, squash, pumkins etc. Often you might find an orange squash subsequent to the pumpkin patch. The bees trip a little stem contained by the flower, which pollinates the plant to produce seed or fruit.
