What is this bug and how do you download a photo beside a examine?

Does anyone know if this is a millipede? If so, is it dangerous and how do you kill them. I enjoy a migration or something going on, they are surrounding my house getting in my pool and we are scared to touch them and own no clue how to kill them.

Answers: is it long and red and flat? if so than they are dangerous... you call for a photo on another site and link it to the question.
