What items should you other preserve contained by your vehicle?
Answers: Baby Wipes -- Even if you don't have children, you should hold a supply of these on hand for quick cleanups -- resembling muddy paws, sticky fingers, spilled coffee, etc. Plus, if you're ever stuck in traffic or waiting on someone, you can go beyond the time effectively by dusting the dashbord, nooks & crannies with a tot wipe!
Dental Floss -- (Call me crazy, but at least I don't SHAVE while I'm driving!). Whether you floss between stoplights, while sitting in rush hour traffic, or as the passenger the subsequent time your husband's driving you to the movies... you'll be amazed by the amount of "down time" you spend sitting in your car -- when you could be promoting heathy gums :)
Umbrella -- I preserve one in my desk drawer at work and one under the form of each of our vehicles. I never want to acquire caught should a sudden rainstorm approach.
Spare Change -- You never know when you'll need some cash for a express soda or a snack. If you get in the obsession of tossing your change in your saloon ashtray, it will add up faster than you think.
Notepad & Pen -- Some of my best design come to me when I'm driving to or from work, on the way to the grocery store, after leaving the shopping arcade, etc. Then again, I also keep a notepad & pen in the bathroom, by my bed, within the kitchen, and the living room. Hey, I'm an idea person!...
Flashlight -- Believe it or not within are certain circumstances when you'd wish you have a small pen-light sized flashlight handy, and other times when you need the mac daddy of all flashlights. Play it sheltered and carry along one of each -- hulking one stays in the trunk. Small one in the glove compartment.
Blanket -- We are outdoorsy relations, so you never know when we'll happen upon an outdoor festival, a nouns, or a sporting event. One thing's for sure: I've always got a verbs spot to sit, protection from the elements in the event of light precipitation, harsh sun or cool breezes.
Camera -- You may choose to purchase an inexpensive disposable camera, or keep an antediluvian film camera from your pre-digital days in your glove compartment, or simply hold a pocket-sized digital camera on your person at all times (like a camera phone). Either opening, you'll be ready should you ever be involved in a motor accident, or if you happen to spot something else unusual and photo-worthy while you're out and in the region of.
Map -- You never know when you might need it! We keep a U.S. map tucked between the front seating, plus a map of the county we live in. It comes in handy for last-minute road trips and to find a quicker route surrounded by the event of a traffic accident or something.
Coupons -- I don't like to lug around adjectives my grocery store coupons in my purse, so I keep them contained by a Coupon Caddy inside my car. I keep adjectives my restaurant coupons in there, too.
Besides the things already mentioned, here's what I hold in my car:
Extra currency for those road-side emergencies
Peanut butter or other protein food in bag you are stranded
Snack foods
Rain gear (cheap poncho)
A gallon of drinking water
A good book--in defence you are stranded for hours
Reflective triangle--in case you have to verbs to the side of the road and want other cars to see you
Jumper cables
Straight edge and Phillips screw driver
Electric tape--in grip a wire in your motor breaks
trenching tool (small shovel)
pillow
A good map of the area you are surrounded by. (Delorme and Benchmark Gazetteers are great!)
I also always have my cellphone and digicam beside me, and have chargers for them that fit in my motor.
A gallon of water, an ice scraper, a rag or cat litter, pen and paper, registration, jumper cable, extra change or money, a flashlight with extra battery, cellphone and/or camera, to mention a few.
Oh, and maybe an extra pair of shoes. Sounds grotesque, but very important!
