What munificent of bait do i put contained by a live trap to pick up a groundhog?

i have a groundhog living lower than my deck, sometime to add injury to insult he spreads his legs out and suns himself. my wife is afraid of it. i put lettuce within the trap once and caught a coon. anybody know what groundhogs like to guzzle.
