What Plant Is This?

My grandma got a plant as a present and asked me what humane of light it wishes, but as I don't know what it is, I can't answer her. Anyone know?

Answers:    That's a Diffenbachia (sp), it need a suitable light to keep going it's variegated leaf colours. Beware when handling the leaves as the sap from this plant is an irritant.
