What plants that do not necessitate soil? (ex.bamboo)?

I was wondering if there are any other nice plants that can grow surrounded by only water. One example of what I expect is bamboo. It can survive with solely water. Are they any other plants similar to this?

Answers:    Pothos can grow in individual water. This is a fleshy (not woody) vining plant with type of heart-shaped leaves. It will do well in soil. But, you can rob a cutting and stick it into a bottle or vase full of sea. It then takes root and only just keeps on growing.
