What size storage shed should I buy?

I rent a home with no basement or garage. I established that I should invest in a storage shed. I need to store 3 kids bike, lawnmower and some prevailing conditions size containers (about 6, approx. 5x5), and some gardening tools. What is the smallest size that would work?

Answers:    If it is okay with your landlord, and considering that you can whip the shed with you when you move, I'd go for the largest that you can carry -- if you have the space for it.

The cost is not much higher for the larger ones. Check prices, and determine the largest shed you can receive for the least amount of money per square foot.

Please know, your city/county may have ordinance regarding shed size.

Where I live, you can have a 10/10 foot shed beside no variance required. Larger than that, your're supposed to apply for a variance...but no one does!

Go larger rather than smaller. Stuff expands to compress the space!
6x4 foot, same size as a small box trailer and are a snap to put up and down. you also might want to look at concrete slabs (about 12''x12'') to make the floor if you don't already have a slab to put it on, or pavers or bricks are also fitting. if you get a 10x12 youll have plenty of room incase something else desires storage;)
