What type of mattress wipe can cool down a hot bed?

Well to start out, I'm going to be purchasing a 4'' "Spa Sensations" memory foam mattress pad for my bed. It be rated by consumer reports as a top buy. The with the sole purpose problem I have near memory foam is that I've heard that it can retain bake and some people quality it makes for a hotter night sleep, and I personally seem to be to get hot at darkness when I sleep. QVC sold a memory foam topper with a "Coolmax Cover" that help for a cooler nights sleep, but they are sold out.

Is within some sort of mattress pad on the open market that would do the same trick as a "Coolmax cover" (which is said to "minister to wick moisture away from the body")? I would put this type of a mattress pad higher than the 4'' Spa Sensations memory foam pad.

Also, I would entail to purchase new deeper sheets for my bed. Is near any certain type of stuff that helps for a cooler night sleep?

P.S. I know I could just turn down the A/C but I'm trying to keep hold of electricity usage down, and my roommates don't want a freezing house. Thanks!

Answers:    I put just a regular glutinous cotton mattress pad cover over my memory foam wad and that seems to work fine.

Best entity for those 'hot flashes' at night is a ceiling disciple!
