Answers: Many electric companies will hold someone come out (usually free of charge) to check the home for areas where nouns is leaking from. By making sure adjectives duct-work, windows and doors are seal properly you can save on your electric bill. Some electric companies will even endow with discounts for energy star type residences.
Check the caulk around doors and window and replace as necessary. Make sure the insulation surrounded by the home is ample. Keep the thermostat set on the same warmth throughout the summer (and do the same within the winter). Use those new lantern bulbs. Turn lights and appliances off when not within use and unplug things like coffee pots, electric toothbrushes, mane dryers and computers when not in use. If possible, turn down the heat on the water electric fire. If there are rooms within the house that aren't used much, close the registers in those rooms. Keep the blinds and curtain closed on window where the sun shines through for the longest spell of time (or during the heat of the day). Collect rainfall water within barrels to be used to water gardens and lawns and to clean the car. Don't agree to the water run while brushing your teeth and clear your showers short. Eliminate baths altogether as that uses more water than showering.

btw: those new standard lamp bulbs do not last as long as advertise, not by a long shot and contain mercury.making their disposal problematic. While one may save on electricity, here is the great danger of contaminating the ground hose down.
Change traditional light bulbs near new effeciency standard lamp bulbs. They are more expensive but last up to 8 years!! They are especially great surrounded by places where you call for a light bulb but it is unyielding to reach and transmutation.
