Whats easier to split,green or aged wood for firewood?


Answers:    It depends on the wood. Some wood actually splits easier when green similar to Madrona. Once it's dry, it's nearly impossible to split. Wood is usually split green so that it dries faster.
aged, aka: seasoned. Green wood is wet, ergo, not seasoned and much tougher to cut!
