Answers: It sounds similar to the problem isn't your rangehood but how it's vented. Most rangehoods don't circulate; they're connected to a vent that lead to the roof of the house. If you can't vent the kitchen you can't get rid of smells. Even a cheap band hood attached to a vent will remove smells better than a very expensive hood that freshly circulates air.
Most stock hoods work well beside oily conditions & enjoy the option to re-circulate or vent out side. The re-circulate option do work well as long as you keep hold of your filter clean as okay as this is the mechanism to trap the dirty nouns therefore restricting nouns flow if not maintain. If you were to try and use the out side vent system option & I connote "out side" not in your roof space as this can course chief problems with mice & rats as it leaves an oily picture in your roof, so vent outside is by far the most effective. Again circulation is the switch so you would have to aver your filters.
