Most all the herbicides that you can buy lacking a license are relatively mild and safe when used as directed. I regard they use 2-4-D as the active ingredient. An example is Roundup.
I used a generic form of Roundup surrounded by concentrated liquid. The designation is Cornerstone. It is mixed with sea. I sometimes spill some on my skin and clothes so I just rinse it stale. On occasion the drift will blow put a bet on into my face. I enjoy been using it for several years and so far I hold had no off-colour effects.
I just finished spraying around my fish farm home and the results show clearly after two weeks.
Use any herbicide carefully around flowers and plants that you do not want to pull. The drift can get some when you don't realize it. However, I sometimes spray 6 to 8 foot in the atmosphere to get over high-ceilinged bushes and have more drift than you will. To slaughter any large bush you must get hold of the spray on the top most leaves. Cornerstone will not damage or annihilate bushes or trees if only the trunk and yelp are sprayed.
For what you probably need, you can buy a small water jug with a appendage sprayer at Walmart premixed. Good luck.
Boiling water works totally well and is non-toxic.Make sure the children and pets are not ar0und when you are carrying the hot sea.
