Whats wrong beside miracle grow?

well, I just this minute got a few habanero plants, and some tips I get on another web site say "always use natural fertilizers on older seedling."

and I was wondering why...

Answers:    Actually pepper sweet or hot do not respond to nitrogen which is what miracle grow all purpose is. Eventually it can snuff the plants as well... For pepper they recomend a a good soil near alot of rich compost in it... If I spray mine at adjectives I use the bloom booster from miracle grow right when I first see them wanting to bloom..Miracle grow makes bloom buster, but do not use the "adjectives purpose" miracle grow on them. The bloom buster has especially little nitrogen in it and have alot of phospherious potassium in it which build strong roots and alot of blooms for fruit to set...Heres pictures of mine..and my compost

Organic type fertilizers are very low surrounded by analysis...that is conceivably only 1% nitrogen whereas MiracleGro is a greater analysis...sorry I don't remember what and am too lazy to jump the the garden shed..let's say it's 12% nitrogen. If you over apply MiracleGro or any greater analysis fertilizer, you can kill the plants. Seedlings don't obligation all that nitrogen fertilizer...the lower analysis is fine. Beware, too much droppings or other organic fertilizer can also decimate the plants. Best bet is to have a biddable rich soil to begin beside, then agree to the plants become "settled" that is growing for several weeks beforehand even thinking about supplements.

Now habanero and other pepper do better on leaner soils, that is they are not wholehearted about super life matter ammended soils. The kinder you are to the plants, the smaller number they respond..don't abuse, merely don't coddle...they aren't roses.

Remember, fertilizers.organic or inorganic (chemical) are salt and excess salt surrounded by the soil kills the roots.no roots, no plant.

Organic ammendments are excellent for increasing drainage, also count water holding size to sandy soils, increasing the nutrient holding ability contained by sandy soils, helps create "tilth" or a righteous soil structure...but as nutrients, they are a bit scarce. If you are not growing an intensly planted garden, fine, but if you are damanding every square inch produce, you'll need to supplement next to other products.
You don't want to use fertilizers such as cow, horse or chicken manure, because of the concerns of e-coli, or salmonella, Miracle grow is fine to use on your pepper plants.
