Where do I places fan to cool down my two story house?

I have one tower fan, one floor enthusiast, no air conditioner and a two story home. I want to cool down the house using fans and inborn air circulation/filtration but do not know where to place my portable fan to be most effective. Do I place them facing windows contained by the rooms I want cooled down to force hot air out? Or do I place them pulling air surrounded by? I do not want to move the fans in different places every day/night so when do I friendly and shut windows and turn on and off the fan? Any advice would be helpful!

Answers:    when we lived within a two story, we found the most effective and quickest way to cool down the house be with a whole house disciple. It's installed in the ceiling of a second story open nouns. It has louvers that open when turned on and close when the devotee is off.

We opened a few window when the air was cooler outside and turned on the aficionado. Within 5 minutes the inside of the house was the same heat as the outside. That fan was wonderful!

If I still lived within a two story house, I would have to have another one of those fan.
In our area, the majority of wind come from North and West; therefore, these windows would be any just open or own fans blowing inward. Fans in window on East and/or South would be blowing outward.

There would be a table or standing fan set up at an angle to bring cooler air around 'corners'.
place them so one pulls fresh nouns in and the other pushes hot air out. hold in mind small fans will not do the trick for more than one room they only don't have the capasity. you may want to look into a swamp cooler they are inexpensive to run and do a fair errand of cooling.
