Where to live surrounded by Cambridge - can anyone relief?

We're considering a move from London to Cambridge for work purposes. I don't drive, though my partner does. We don't mind living in a settlement outside of Cambridge as long as public transport links to Cambridge are ok. Looking for around 3 bedrooms though preferably 4...

Anyone got any concept? Or can at least share us where to avoid? Although we know Cambridge sensibly well to call on, we're not sure about where on earth is nice to live...

Thanks!

Answers:    South Cambridge is considered better than North Cambridge although it is more expensive generally to buy within. Always liked the Linton & Saffron Walden nouns myself as they are lovely villages and the ancestors are really friendly when I've visited at hand. Both have regular buses into the focus, and the park and rides into Cambridge are good roughly anyway.

Have fun with the property turn upside down.

close at hand the city centre you'll find lots of students and tourists, places resembling cherry hinton area are quieter but far from the university area/city center. Hope that help!
