Why does my chihuahua pee on everthing unmarked contained by the house that i bring home?

my chihuahua Beau hasn't urinated in the house for probably at lowest possible a year. That is until I brought into my home a rug that had be in my daughter's home and she have a cat. I think Beau be marking his nouns on the rug. But if your dog pees on everything new, that's a mystery to me. Beau have been the most difficult of adjectives my dogs to train (my other two dogs are/were labs). He just hasn't figure out that he should come and stand in front of me and eccentrically wag his tail like my lab does, if he requirements to go out to the bathroom. ie, he stills poops surrounded by the house on occassion. Maybe you should crate him more until the new point isn't new anymore.
