Why is it appropriate for inhabitants to saunter on grass?

I dislike it when I send the kids to walk get the communication, because.. yes you guessed it. They walk on the grass ( shortcut ).
The patch is so revolting now, I spend so much time trying to recuperate that every year.
ok, flowers look pretty, but they are generally pretty fragile. they are pretty, they are for looks.
grass is pretty darn plain... boring even. and suprisingly resilent. you own to walk on one and the same spot often to start to snuff it off.
this is freshly my humble opinion, but i have an idea that grass is around your house because it is soft, cool, and meant to be enjoy. it there is a place where on earth a path is starting to wear, put surrounded by a row of stepping stones, but the rest of it should be enjoyed by tired foot and relaxers. if it didnt feel so nice, we would basically pave everything so we wouldnt have to mow, and own flower boxes neatly on top
Because they are two distinct types of plants. They hold totally different properties. Like mice and Gorillas.
If you took a machine and mowed down roses similar to you do grass they would die. Grass is just that ,grass. It is ok to step on because in can lift it. Grass is only slightly stressed but it will survive.

Grass is an overabundance - it's everywhere.
They grow without profusely of work, apart from when it's very dry out and ends up anyone crunchy.
Flowers actually look nice and give somebody a lift more time and care to feel.
Grass can tolerate the abuse and it will also grow rear legs when damaged try that next to a flower and see what happens to it.
