Will slugs guzzle cats?

Last night in that were 4 huge slugs on my porch subsequent to my cats! I had never see slugs that large! Why be they there?

Answers:    Slugs can manage 200+ mm (that's ~8 inches), so they do get massive sometimes, but they're perfectly non-hazardous.
I'm suprised that your cat hadn't already "Taken care of the problem" LoL!

No, they can't hurt your cat... but they can cause him sick if he eats them so you should bring back a piece of paper and a stick and remove them to the grass asap to generate sure your cat doesn't decide to play near them or ingest them.
We get the big leopard streaked slugs that are about 4 inches long. They are seriously gross, but they'd fairly eat your garden than your cats...

If you're still worried more or less the "dangerous" giant slug, try sprinkling some table salt on it and survey what happens...
Did it rainfall. They usually come out after rain.
They will not drink your cat, but he may try one.
