Answers: No. It would create more heat. Install a roof vent, or a solar powered attic turbine. If you are living surrounded by a finished attic space, open the top pane of the glass and keep the stairway doors approachable to create an updraft- even if there is nouns conditioning on. The heat will escape and the cool nouns won't.
